Ivan has been taking lessons with Kent for only a year, yet I am amazed at his big progress. Kent picked music to suit his taste and skills so Ivan likes playing and is always happy and looking forward to go to piano lessons. The happiest thing that happened on him was that he attained the second place with marks of 88 in this year’s Hong Kong Schools Music Festival Piano Competition. I appreciate it very much for Kent's great effort on my son. Not only that, Kent is patient and engaging and put the kids at ease. My 10 year old son, Elwood has really enjoyed learning from Kent and his teaching strategy has made Elwood want to practice more and more. We appreciate Kent's gentle and free flowing approach than cramming with so many other teachers. To grow up with an ability but a strong dislike to the instrument is not we want for our 5 year old, Andreas. 我 们来自北京。我的儿子五岁半，在离开北京之前刚开始学琴，很喜欢他当时的老师。搬来香港后，我开始还比较担心是否可以帮他找到合适的新老师。因为钢琴初学 时，还是比较枯燥，尤其对于年龄较小的男孩子而言。这时，如果能有一个孩子喜欢的老师，效果往往不同。很幸运我们经人介绍可以认识Kent。我虽然不清楚 他具体怎样指导我的孩子弹琴，但每次都能听见他和孩子在琴房中开心谈笑的声音。孩子回家练琴，进步也是明显的，对乐理和旋律的掌握也比我的预期要好。每次 问他是否喜欢现在的老师，他都很肯定地说：喜欢！ Jiangyu 2013 Nicole (Grade 2) - 聖保祿學校（小學部）二年級 我的女兒Nicole 與 Kent 老師在音樂上的交流緣起不是來自鋼琴，而是Kent 老師為Nicole 在長笛考試作伴奏。 我這個對音樂一竅不通的媽媽對Nicole 平日練習吹奏長笛所遇到的問題一籌莫展。很幸運地在一個偶然的機會下向Kent老師談起我的難題，Kent 老師很熱心亦不嫌其煩地為我講解很多音樂上的睇法和怎樣提起小朋友練習樂器的興趣心得。 還記得Nicole 和 Kent老師作第一次合奏後，她那張流露出興奮的小臉，令我知道這次合奏已發生了化學作用。自那次後，Nicole都會為下一次合奏而加緊練習。 雖然有很多家長對我提起過考試夾琴不需要太多次，但我不想小朋友學習樂器只是單單為了考試，Kent老師講過音樂不應只是自我吹奏，而是要有所交流的立體化。我很能感受在Kent 與 Nicole 每一次合奏的過程中，Nicole是有所得著的。 很感恩在Nicole 在學習長笛的旅途中遇到你 － Kent 老師。 Kamen 2013 Jeniffer (Grade 4) - 聖保祿天主教小學三年級, Ronald (Grade 1) - 香港華仁小學一年級 Kent 是一位很好的老師，會用心和認真地教導學生，也會提醒家長學生上堂的進展及如何鼓勵和改善學生的優點與缺點，這點真的很好，是一位没有脾氣老師，個性風趣幽默。 我的女兒 Jennifer 在未認識Kent 老師之前，是跟一位很嚴厲的老師學琴，每次上堂學琴之前，女兒必定有頭暈，肚痛，嘔吐的現象，因為老師太嚴肅，令到女兒有種無形壓力，加上老師日日罵，所以女兒完全學不到東西。直至認識到Kent 老師，我女兒很開心，學得很快，她也建立了信心，並很喜歡 Kent 老師的教導。現在我的細仔也跟 Kent 老師學琴，兩個都很開心，我完全放心將對仔女交給 Kent 老師教導。 李太 2013 |
